It was a warm and sunny day in Pallet Town. A 18 year old boy walked down the dirt path toward his house. He had just placed 2nd in the Unova League. He had messy, black hair which was mostly covered up by a red and white hat with a light blue Pokeball on the front. He wore black jeans and red and black shoes. He wore a white and light blue sweatshirt with a blue hood in the back and black finger-less gloves with red cuffs. He had a blue bag with a lime green, v-shaped stripe on it. His auburn eyes gleamed in the sunlight. On his shoulder was a yellow mouse like Pokémon. He had two red circles on his cheeks and a lightning bolt shaped tail. His pointy ears swayed in the light breeze as he rode on his trainer’s shoulder. “Pika pi?” he asked his trainer. “Huh? Oh, sorry Pikachu. I was just thinking.” The boy reassured his Pokémon. “Pika?” Pikachu questioned. “Oh just about all the people we’ve traveled with and all that we’ve done.” The trainer, Ash Ketchum, stated. “I remember when we first started. We met Misty that day. Misty. So short tempered and self centered. But she is still a good friend. I remember Brock. He always knew what to do and made some delicious meals. I wonder how his studies to become a Pokémon Doctor are coming?” Ash wondered. “Then there’s Tracy. Gosh, that was an interesting meeting. But we became good friends. I’m sure I’ll see him when I go to the lab. How can I forget Dawn? She was so energetic! But she worried way too much about her clothes and hair. But she’s still a great friend none the lest.” He chuckled. “Oh Iris, I may miss you but not your taunting. Wow could she go on and on. But her personality amused me. And I guess Cilan went back to being a gym leader. I will never forget all those evaluations he gave Pikachu and any other Pokémon we came across. I’m just glad that I don’t have to here that anymore. It’s gotten a little annoying. Oh yeah! What about little Max? I wonder how he is? He’s probably started his journey already. Maybe I should call him and see how his journey is going. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even get to talk to May.” Ash said. “May.” Ash said slowly as he looked up at the sky and remembered the brunette coordinator from Hoenn. “She was so nice. I don’t why, but I feel like I miss her most. Why do I feel this way? I’ve felt this way ever since we parted ways after the Battle Frontier. When she came back for the Wallace Cup I was so happy. But then she went back to Johto and this feeling returned. Ugh!! What is wrong with me?!”Ash yelled embarrassed and angry. His talk with himself was quickly interrupted by Pikachu. “Pika!” Pikachu cheered and pointed. Ash looked where Pikachu was pointing and saw his house. “We’re home!” Ash cheered and started to run to his house as Pikachu held on for dear life.
Ash flung the door open and charged into the living room. “Mom I’m home!” he called. “Ash!” his mother called as she ran to her son and hugged him. She had long auburn hair which was pulled back into a low pony tail with a blue hair clip. She wore a yellow shirt that was mostly covered up by her pink jacket. She wore a denim skirt and light green slippers. Her eyes matched Ash’s. Ash returned the hug and soon they separated. “Congrats on finishing in second!” Mrs. Ketchum congratulated her son. “Aw thanks mom.” He said. “To celebrate I got you a present!” Mrs. Ketchum smiled. “Yay! What is it? Where is it?” Ash asked. “I can’t tell you, but it’s up in your room. I need to finish dinner.” She said and walked back into the kitchen. “Alright!!” Ash cheered and ran up the stairs. Mrs. Ketchum smiled in the kitchen. “Wait till he sees that present.” She thought to herself. Then she snapped her head up from the stove and widened her eyes. “Don’t break it!!” she yelled after him.
Ash burst into his room and looked around but saw nothing. He moved in further and looked around more carefully. Suddenly two hands came up from behind and covered his eyes. The hands had black bracelets around their wrists. Ash wanted to know who was behind him. He grabbed the hands and spun around. But he spun around too fast and stumbled and fell taking the owner of the hand down with him. He fell on his back then he felt the owner of the hands land on top of him. He then opened his eyes and he saw the face he had secretly longed to see for a long time. There was May, on top of him and giggling. She was now 17 and had long brown hair that split in two on either side of her head. She wore a white, sleeveless jacket that went down to her waist. She wore shorts that had pockets in the back and were made of denim. She wore a black shirt underneath her jacket that matched her pink and blue shoes. Around her waist was a light blue strap that lead to her light blue bag in the back and her sapphire colored eyes sparkled with happiness. And her look was topped off with her white bandana with a pink Pokeball symbol on the top of her head. “Hi Ash! That was an interesting way to greet me. But it was traditional you!” she said, playfully as she pulled him on to his feet and into a big hug. “Hey May, yeah I guess. What are you doing here?” he questioned as he returned her hug. “When your mom heard you were coming home she called me and told me that she wanted to surprise you with a surprise stay with her and me since I placed 2nd in the Johto Grand Festival and 1st in the Sinnoh Grand Festival! She wanted to make it a party for both of us!” May explained. “Wait. So you’re staying here?” Ash questioned. “Yep! For the whole week!” May said proudly. “That’s awesome!” Ash exclaimed. “Uh, Ash?” May asked. “Yeah?” he responded. “Your still hugging me.” May stated. Realizing this Ash quickly let go of her. Both of them were blushing like crazy. “Kids! Dinner’s ready!” Mrs. Ketchum called up to them. They both looked at each other and bolted to the kitchen.
Mrs. Ketchum had set up a buffet because she knew that May had just as big an appetite as Ash. Soon May and Ash and devoured everything at the table except for what Mrs. Ketchum had taken for herself. “Thanks Mom that was great.” Ash sighed as he leaned back in his chair. “Yeah thanks Mrs. Ketchum.” May added. “May I told you, you can call me Delia.” Mrs. Ketchum responded. “Oh, right. Sorry.” May apologized. After the dishes were put in the sink, May and Ash went to the living room to talk, but it was already dark outside. So everyone decided to head to bed. Delia went to her room and Ash went to his. May checked into the guess room where she was staying. Little did everyone know there was someone watching them from outside.
The next morning May woke up and stretched. She got changed into her usual clothes and went downstairs. When she got downstairs she saw Ash and Pikachu watching TV and she saw Delia making breakfast. She sat next to Ash and watched with him. “Kids! Breakfast!” Delia called from the kitchen. Ash got up and went to the kitchen. May was just about to follow when she felt a tug at her leg. She looked down and saw Pikachu tugging on her leg. She crouched down so she was eye level with the Pokémon. “What’s wrong Pikachu?” she asked. “Pika pika chu!” Pikachu answered. May couldn’t understand Pikachu. Realizing this Pikachu pointed to May’s bag. May looked at her bag then back at Pikachu. Then she saw Pikachu blushing. Immediately she figured out what Pikachu wanted. She pulled a Pokeball from her bag. “Eevee come on out!” she called. Out of her Pokeball came a Pokémon a bit smaller than Pikachu. She had two pointy ears and brown fur. She also had a ring of fluffy peach colored fur around her neck and a fluffy tail. “Vee?” Eevee asked. “Look behind you.” May giggled. Eevee turned around and saw Pikachu. A huge smile appeared on her face as she ran to Pikachu tackling him to the ground. Eevee was on top of Pikachu and squealing with delight. Pikachu hugged Eevee back still blushing like crazy. May giggled and decided to leave them alone and went for breakfast. She went into the kitchen and sat next to Ash. When they were both done they went to the living room and talked about what they had done since the last time they had seen each other.
“So, how is Max?” Ash asked. “He’s good. He started his journey and got a Treecko from Professor Birch and went to conquer all the Hoenn Gyms.” May responded. “Last time I heard from him, his Treecko was a Sceptile and he had caught lots of other Pokémon and was getting ready to battle our dad for his fifth gym badge.” She added. “Cool! I almost forgot your dad is a gym leader! But whoever he’s up against, he’ll do well! I know it!” Ash replied with his classic determined look. “He will do great. He learned from you.” May said as she looked away from Ash so he couldn’t see the blush on her face. “T-thanks May.” Ash said as his own blush appeared on his face. Looking to change the subject, May asked Ash, “So what do you want to do today? You know besides sitting here and talking.” “Um… lets go to Professor Oak’s lab! I was planning to go there today anyway.” Ash suggested. “Cool! I haven’t seen Professor Oak in forever! Let’s go!” May responded, happy to get off the previous subject. Once they said goodbye to Delia, Ash, May, Pikachu, and Eevee started down the dirt path to the lab.
As they headed down the path, Ash and May continued their talk while Eevee and Pikachu had their own little chat. Soon they found themselves at Oak’s front door. Ash knocked on the door and waited. Soon a tall, 20 year old boy came to the door. He had bluish hair that was held back by a red headband. He wore a plain green t-shirt and red shorts with blue shoes. “Ash! May! Good to see you!” the boy said happily. “It’s good to see you too Tracy.” Ash replied. “Hi Tracy!” May chimed in. “Come on in. Did you come to see the Pokémon?” Tracy asked. “Yeah.” Ash and May said at the same time then the both blushed. “Well they’re all out by the pond. I have some work to do and the Professor is out doing field work in Viridian Forest so just come find me if you need anything.” Tracy let them know. “Thanks.” Both Ash and May said in unison once again. They blushed again and ran out to the pond with Eevee and Pikachu in close pursuit. Soon they found the pond and all of Ash’s Pokémon were there. But someone else was there too. A girl who was 17 stood in the middle of all of them. She wore a yellow top with a blue collar and a red shirt underneath it. She also wore yellow shorts that went well with her orange high tops. Her orange hair was pulled into a ponytail with a blue scrunchie that sat high on the side of her head. Her green eyes glittered in the bright sun. She turned around and saw the two trainers. “Misty?” Ash asked dumfounded.
Ash ran up to Misty and they hugged. “Misty! What are you doing here?” Ash asked. “I got a break from the gym and decided to come and visit. Tracy and Professor Oak are letting me stay here.” Misty answered. Then May walked over. Misty’s eyes widened as she let go of Ash. “Hey May. What are you doing here.” She asked a little less excited. “Oh. Mrs. Ketchum invited me over to stay with Ash and her for the week to celebrate Ash coming home.” May explained. “Oh.” Misty said as the smile faded from her face. “Well I’m going to go see the Pokémon!” Ash said as he ran toward his Pokémon leaving Misty and May by themselves. “So how’s the gym?” May asked. “Don’t get cute with me May.” Misty snapped at her. “Huh? What do you mean?” May asked confused. “I know why you’re here. You want to take Ash for yourself! But I got news for you, girl! Ash is mine! So just back off!” Misty once again snapped. Then she stormed off to join Ash leaving May confused. May sighed and went off to join Ash and Misty not aware that someone had just seen the whole conversation.
The three trainers played with the Pokémon all day. When it started getting dark Ash and May said good bye to Misty and started back home with Pikachu and Eevee who had never left each other all day. Once they were out of sight Misty sat down under a tree and sighed. She wanted to make Ash her boyfriend this week but now May was here and it was going to be a LOT harder. She sighed and continued to sit alone. “Hey.” A voice said. Misty looked up and saw a boy. The boy looked to be about 18 and had green hair that matched his green eyes. He wore a black long sleeve shirt that matched his black shoes. He wore a purple vest over his shirt and blue jeans. “Who are you?” Misty asked. “My name is Drew. I’m May’s rival from Hoenn.” He told her. “Well what are you doing here?” Misty asked. “I came to make sure Ash and May stay friends and don’t get together. I heard your conversation with May. You want Ash?” he questioned her. “Oh yes! I would do anything to get Ash!” Misty exclaimed. “And I want May so I think we can help each other.” Drew concluded. “Deal!” Misty stated and they both shook hands. “I have a plan and it starts tomorrow.” Drew said. “What do we do?” Misty asked, getting excited. “Ok. Here’s what we’re going to do…”
The next morning started similar to the one before. May got up and watched TV with Ash while they waited for breakfast. After breakfast, Ash and May decided to head for the lab again. Pikachu and Eevee decided to stay at Ash’s house together. As soon as they stepped onto the porch they saw Misty standing in the middle of the road with a big smile on her face. “Hi Ash!” she exclaimed. “Hi Misty. What are you doing here? I thought you were staying at Professor Oak’s.” Ash questioned her. “Well I thought that you and I could have a nice brunch and catch up.” She replied. Then she grabbed Ash by the arm and started pulling him down the path to the Palette Diner. “W-wait! What about May?” Ash stuttered. “Don’t worry! I’m sure she’ll find something to do!” Misty said and continued pulling Ash down the road leaving May alone on the porch. “Boy, is she paranoid or what?” May thought to herself. She sighed a decided to take a walk by herself. As she walked she was deep in thought. “What is with Misty? She is really defensive about this. I don’t even like Ash that way. Even though he’s smart, and wild, and courageous, and cute. Wait a minute!” May thought. She blushed redder than red and then shook the blush and those thoughts away. “So Ketchum left you alone huh? That’s just like him.” a voice said from behind May. She turned around to see her green haired rival behind her. “D-Drew? What are you doing here?” she said surprised.
“I came for you.” Drew simply said and then came closer and put his arms around May’s waist and pulled her close. Then he looked into her eyes and he leaned his face closer in an attempt to kiss her. “Drew, stop it!” May  shouted and pushed Drew away. “But May!” Drew started to protest. “I already told you, we can’t be together because I don’t love you. I thought I made that clear after the Johto Grand Festival.” She shot back. “Then who do you love May? Is it Ketchum?” Drew asked. “N-no! Of course not!” May stuttered and blushed redder than a tomato berry. “Just as I thought. You really think he loves you? He is too dense! Even for Misty! I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t started to fall for her even with all this extra time I’m giving her!” Drew said and then quickly covered his mouth with his hands. Had he just given their plan away? Maybe she didn’t hear him. “You…you sneaky little Rattata! You planned this!” May screamed. “Darn it!” Drew thought. “You and Misty planned to keep Ash and me apart so you could be my boyfriend and Misty could be Ash’s girlfriend! Well your little plan didn’t work! The only thing it did do is help me realize two things! One I will never, EVER be your girlfriend Drew! And two is that I do love Ash! He is everything I could ever want and than some! He is way better than you will ever be Drew! I never want to see you again!”May yelled at the top of her lungs. “Well I just…” Drew started but got interrupted by a hard slap in the face from May before she turned around and stormed towards the Diner to find Ash while leaving Drew on the ground in a daze.
Back at the Diner, Misty was trying to get Ash to notice her but all he did was stare out the window. They sat in a booth with Misty on the right and Ash on the left. “Ash what are you looking at?” Misty asked trying to drum up conversation. “Nothing just thinking about May.” He replied not turning his head at all to look at her. “What about her?” Misty asked getting a little worried. “I just feel bad just leaving her like that when she’s staying with me.” Ash told her. Misty sighed and looked out the window too. Immediately, she regretted it. Through the window she saw May running towards the Diner. She was coming from the left so Ash didn’t see her. Misty panicked. Did Drew fail? Was May coming to tell Ash something? What should she do? May was now right at the door to the Diner. Seeing this as possibly her only chance Misty grabbed Ash and pulled his lips to hers causing them to meet. Misty closed her eyes as Ash widened his. That was when he saw May at the door. Her jaw was hanging open and tears were forming in her eyes. Ash watched as she ran out of the Diner and down the street crying. Ash pushed Misty away and their lips separated. “Misty!! What the heck did you do that for?!?!” Ash yelled. “I…” Misty started but was cut off by Ash. “No! I don’t want to hear your excuses! Thanks to you May is running away crying now! How could you?!” Ash shouted. Misty was silent and looking down at her feet. Ash, seeing that he wasn’t going to get a response or reaction from her, left her there and began to run after May. Misty looked down at her feet. “What have I done?” she whispered to herself. “What have I done?”
May ran down the road and cried. “Misty! Misty! How could he pick her?!” May thought as she ran down the road. When she heard Ash coming after her she ran off the road and hid behind a tree keeping her sobbing low so Ash wouldn’t hear her. Ash stopped in the middle of the road and turned his head left and right trying to spot her. “May! Where are you?!” Ash called. “Please come back! You don’t understand!” he desperately called. “I understand perfectly Ash.” She thought to herself. After getting no response Ash continued running down the road looking for his friend. “Oh May.” Ash thought as he franticly ran. May came out from behind the tree and decided to stay in the forest. Ash would never find her in there. Soon it clouded over and began to rain. She ran to the biggest tree she could find and stayed under it thinking to herself about the events that had just happened.
Ash burst through the door and slammed it shut behind him. He had just run all over Pallet Town and was now tired and wet. His mother, hearing the commotion, came running into the living room. “Ash! You’re soaked to the bone! What’s going on? Where’s May?” she questioned her son. “It’s a long story.” Ash said. “Then you better start at the beginning.” She told him. “Ok. After May and I left, Misty dragged me to the Diner and insisted we go without May. She pulled me until we got to the Diner. We had some brunch but I couldn’t focus. I felt so bad about leaving May hanging like that. Suddenly Misty grabbed me and kissed me! It was at that moment that I saw May standing at the door. Then she ran out crying. I made Misty let me go and I ran after her. I looked all over Pallet Town but I couldn’t find her. Then it started to rain and I came home.” Ash retold the story. “Oh poor May.” Delia said. “Do you know why she ran away Mom?” Ash asked. “Yes, she’s heartbroken.” Delia replied. “Her heart is broken? But she looked ok to me. Does she need a doctor?” Ash asked. “No no! Not literally!” Delia said as she smacked herself on the forehead amazed at her son’s density. “She likes you, Ash.” Delia tried again. “Well that’s no shock. Everyone likes me. Pikachu likes me, Brock likes me, Tracy likes me, and Max especially likes me and…” Ash started but his mouth was covered up by his mother. “No Ash! She loves you!” Delia blurted out. Ash’s eyes widened. “May loves me?” Ash asked, removing his mother’s hands from his mouth. “Yes she does. And when she saw you kissing Misty she was crushed and that’s why she ran away.” Delia explained. “Now let me ask you something. Do you love her?” Mrs. Ketchum continued. “I don’t know! How am I supposed to know?!” Ash asked. “Well how do you feel around her?” Delia asked annoyed and trying not to smack her son for being so dense. “Well I get this feeling in my chest my face heats up. I’m happy when she’s happy and worried if she’s sad. I’ve felt like this since the day we met back when I was 11.” He replied slowly and blushed as red as a fire truck. “Ash. That’s called love.” Delia said and crossed her arms over her chest. “Oh! So that’s what that feeling I’ve had is! Love! ...That’s what it is right?” Ash asked. “Ugh. Yes Ash. Honestly, no one is as dense as you. It’s impossible.” Delia sighed. “So now you know what you have to do. You have to find her, tell her how you feel and fix everything.” His mother instructed. “Yeah! You’re right! I have to find her and make things right!” he said and opened the door to head out. “Oh, no you don’t.” Delia said and grabbed Ash’s hood causing him to stop and fall backwards onto his butt. “I won’t have my son out in the rain at night. You could catch a cold or something.” Delia stated as she closed the door. “But Mom! May’s out there alone! I can’t just leave her out there all night!” Ash protested. “Don’t worry Ash. She’s a responsible girl she can take care of herself. She lives with Max after all.” Delia reassured him. “Humph.” Ash puffed.
The next morning, before dawn, Ash woke up. He quickly got changed and wrote a note to his mom and darted out the door. He continued his search once again and looked all over Pallet Town. Soon he decided to look in the woods. It was the only place he hadn’t checked. He looked around in the woods for hours. Soon the sun was starting to set and Ash still hadn’t found May. He was tired. He skipped breakfast and lunch to search for May and it was almost dinner time. After a few more minutes Ash came to a big clearing. He remembered the clearing well. He use to always climb the big tree at the far end of the clearing. It was the tallest tree in the woods. Ash decided to check it out. He didn’t have enough strength left to run, so he began to jog and the big tree came into view. As he came closer he saw a figure lying at the base of the tree. As he came even closer, Ash saw that the figure was May! His jog quickly turned into a run. He came up next to her and dropped to his knees. He put his hand under her head and lifted it up. She was unconscious and all the color was slowly draining out of her face. Ash put his hand to her forehead. He immediately yanked his hand away. Her forehead was so hot it hurt his hand. He quickly picked her up and started to run and carry her home. He blushed a little when he realized that he was carrying her bridal style but he quickly shook it off. This wasn’t the time to think about that! This was the time to get her help!
After what seemed like hours of running, Ash finally made it to his house. He kicked the door open and ran inside. “MOM!!!!!!!!” Ash yelled at the top of his lungs. “Ash what’s going…oh my!” Delia said when she saw the unconscious girl in Ash’s arms. “Quick! Get her onto the couch!” she added. Ash quickly put May on the couch so Delia could take a look at her. All the color was drained from her face. Mrs. Ketchum took her temperature. “Oh my gosh!” Delia shouted when she took the thermometer out of May’s mouth. “Her temperature is 107! That is way too high! We have to do something do get her temperature down! It can’t go up even one more degrees it’s bad news for May!!” Delia reported. “What?! But that means she’ll…” Ash couldn’t finish that sentence. He just couldn’t. “It’ll be ok Ash. It’ll be ok.” Delia said and ran into the kitchen to get something to cool May down. Ash knelt down next to the unconscious girl. “May. Please be ok. I can’t lose you. Not yet.” Ash said quietly as he closed his eyes in hope. “A-Ash.” A weak voice said quietly. Ash opened his eyes to see May with her eyes open. “May! Are you ok?!” he asked franticly. “W-why Ash? Why?” May whimpered. Then her eyes closed once again. “May? May! What do you mean?! Why what?! Oh she’s out cold again.” Ash said as he sighed worriedly. “Yes Nurse Joy. Temperature of 107, pale, and unconsciousness. Pneumonia? She’s dying?! Try to keep her temperature down and stay calm? We’ll try. Thank you. Bye.” Delia said as she hung up the phone in the kitchen. She sighed worriedly and grabbed an ice pack and ran into the living room. “Here put this on her forehead!” Delia said as she came back with the ice pack. Ash took the ice pack and placed it on May’s forehead. “I talked with Nurse Joy over the phone and she told me what’s wrong with May.” Delia said. “What?!” Ash yelled. “She has pneumonia. And she’s slowly…” Delia started quietly. How could she tell her son that the girl he loved was in danger of dying? “What?! She’s what?!” Ash persisted. “You don’t want to know.” His mother informed him. “N-no. She can’t. She can’t.” Ash stuttered catching his mother’s drift. “Don’t worry Ash. We’ll save her.” Delia said even though she wasn’t sure herself.
Delia and Ash did everything they could until bedtime. Delia went to bed but Ash never left May’s side. “Oh May. We’ve done everything we can for you. Please be ok. I-I need you because…I l-love you.” Ash confessed. Then Pikachu and Eevee returned from Ash’s room. Pikachu had a goofy grin on his face while Eevee had her eyes closed with a small smile on her face. Both Pokémon were extremely close to each other. But both of their expressions changed when they saw May and Ash. They scampered down the stairs and came right next to Ash. They both looked from May to Ash with worried looks on their faces. “Hi guys.” Ash said quietly. “Pika pika chu?” Pikachu questioned him. “May is in trouble. She’s really sick and she may not make it. I can’t do much of anything for her. I feel so… helpless. AND I HATE IT!!!!” Ash yelled as he let the tears he had held back flow down his cheeks and onto the carpet. Pikachu’s ears dropped down as he looked sadly at his helpless trainer. He had known before everyone else that Ash loved May. He turned and looked at Eevee who was crying herself. Not as hard as Ash but still broken hearted. Then, at that moment Pikachu had an idea. It was a long shot but he had to try. He jumped up onto May’s stomach. Ash noticed and tried to watch through his tears. Pikachu clicked the button on May’s bag strap. The strap unlocked and fell to May’s sides. Pikachu then grabbed one strap in his teeth and pulled. The bag came off and dropped to the floor. Then Pikachu stuck his head in the bag and began to rummage around looking for something. About a minute later he came out with the other five pokeballs May had. Now Eevee was curious too. She watched as Pikachu pressed all the buttons on the pokeballs and let out the rest of May’s Pokémon. Out of the first pokeball came a tall, red Pokémon with flames around his wrists. He had gray fingers with claws and two long, white strands of fur running down his back. He had a beak-like face and yellow, fuzzy legs. “Blaziken?” he asked as he looked at his surroundings. Out of the second pokeball came a middle sized Pokémon with peach colored fur. She was a cat-like Pokémon with purple ears and a purple fluff of fur at the end of her long tail. She had a ring of fine, purple fur that looked like a scarf around her neck and black, clear eyes. “Del! Delcatty!” she expressed happily. The third pokeball released a Pokémon that looked like a butterfly. She had big, blue eyes and a small, gray body. Her wings had lots of different colors all over them and it had a long gray nose that curled at the end into a swirl. “Beautifly!” she said as she twirled around. Out of the fourth pokeball came a blue turtle-like Pokémon. He had a light blue, fluffy tail that matched his light blue, pointy ears. He had a shell that was peach colored on the belly side and brown on the back. “Wartortle!” he said with a wink and a thumbs up. In a flash of white light an enormous green Pokémon came out of May’s fifth pokeball. She had a big pink flower on her back and dark green leaves under it. She walked on all fours and had red eyes and claws on all four of her feet. “Vena?” she asked in confusion. “Pikachu why did you send out Blaziken, Delcatty, Beautifly, Wartortle, and Venusaur?” Ash asked in between sobs. Despite him asking this question Pikachu ignored him. “Pikachu pika! Pika pi chu! Pika pi pika.” Pikachu told all of May’s Pokémon. They all looked at one another. Then they all looked at May. Her pale face and sickly look caused all of them to start to cry. Blaziken tried to hold his tears back, but he couldn’t bare to see his trainer this way and his tears escaped. Delcatty curled up to the couch and quietly sobbed. Beautifly hovered only slightly above the ground as she cried for her trainer. Wartortle fell to his knees and cried. Venusaur just stood where she was and closed her eyes and cried. Eevee couldn’t hold it anymore and burst out crying. She cried and cried, even as Pikachu tried to comfort her.
Ash couldn’t understand it. Why did Pikachu do this? Why would he make all of his friends sad? But then he noticed something. All of the Pokémon’s tears were turning into little sparkles of light. Ash watched in awe as the sparkles floated from the Pokémon’s eyes onto May’s body. As more sparkles floated to her, her body became engulfed in a dull blue light. The light became brighter and brighter as the Pokémon cried. Suddenly, Ash realized what was happening. He remembered a legend that he had heard about seven years ago. “Pokémon tears contain a power that even the Pokémon don’t know of. They have the power to heal all injuries and even restore life. Though Pokémon’s tears heal all, their magic is only obtainable if the reason and people are good. If all the people and Pokémon feel the same, the magic will be unlocked.” Ash recited the legend in his head. The same thing had happened back when he was ten years old! He was attacked by Mew and Mewtwo and was turned to stone. His Pokémon and others’ Pokémon cried for him and the same thing happened. The tears turned into sparkles and floated to him. The tears changed him back with some kind of magic. Pikachu remembered! Pikachu remembered that incident and thought it might work again! Ash looked at May’s now glowing body. There were no more sparkles flowing to her yet her body still glowed. Nothing changed but the glow stayed. “What-what’s wrong? Shouldn’t she be ok now?” Ash asked. Pikachu looked at May as well and had the same questions as Ash. “May….” Ash said as one last tear escaped from his eye. The tear turned into a sparkle and floated onto May. The blue light turned white and flashed with such great brightness it blinded everyone in the room. Once the light faded Ash and all the Pokémon looked at May. Her face wasn’t pale anymore and she was breathing easier again. Her eyes slowly opened and Ash came into view. “May!!” Ash said relieved. “A-Ash? Where am I? What happened?” May asked still groggy. “Shhhh. Your body weak right now. Just get some sleep and I’ll see you in the morning.” Ash told her. May nodded and drifted off to sleep. Ash smiled and stroked her head. “Everything’s going to be ok.” Ash whispered.
The next morning, Mrs. Ketchum woke up and went downstairs was surprised to see Ash and May’s Pokémon asleep by May’s side. She wondered what had happened last night and walked up to them. As she did, May slowly woke up. “D-Delia? Good morning.” May said with a weak smile. “May! You woke up!” Delia whispered. “Y-yeah.” May replied. Delia put the thermometer into May’s mouth. When she took it back a bigger smile came across her face. “May, your fever’s completely gone!” she exclaimed. “Good.” May said with a smile on her face. “But you should still stay on the couch, just in case. I’ll start breakfast.” Delia said. “Right.” May whispered as Delia left for the kitchen. A little after Delia left, Ash slowly opened his eyes. He looked and saw May looking at him. “Hey May! How are you feeling?” Ash asked. “I-I don’t know.” May said. “Oh.” Ash said noticing tears forming in May’s eyes. “May what’s bothering you?” Ash asked. “I just don’t understand why you picked Misty!” She shouted, “Why?! Why?!” she yelled, crying. Ash took May’s hand in his own and looked into her watery eyes. “May, I didn’t pick Misty.” Ash said simply. “She kissed me. I didn’t kiss her. I don’t love her. I love you.” Ash  said. “You-you do?” May asked as her voice shook. “Yes, May. I have always loved you.” He replied.  “Though I didn’t know it ‘till last night.”  He thought to himself. “Not even Dawn or Iris?” May questioned. “Nope and definitely not!” Ash said with a small shake of the head and then made a disgusted face that caused May to giggle. “Oh Ash! I love you, too!” May said and grabbed him and pulled him into a kiss. Unlike the kiss with Misty, Ash responded and kissed her back. When they broke apart for air, they looked at each other with love in their eyes. Then they heard a small knock at the door. Ash left May on the couch and went to answer it. He opened the door to find Misty sadly standing there with her head down. “Hi, Ash. Can I come in?” she asked softy. “Fine.” Ash replied harshly and let her in.
Soon they were all sitting in the living room. Ash on the couch with his arm securely around May’s shoulders trying to comfort her. All of May’s Pokémon and Pikachu, except for Blaziken who leaned against a wall, sat on the ground glaring at Misty while she sat alone in one of the chairs on the left side of the couch. After a moment of silence, Misty spoke, “I’m- I’m so sorry Ash. I shouldn’t have done what I did to you. It was wrong.” She stated sadly. “And May? I’m sorry I hurt you. I realize now that friendship is more important. Can either of you ever forgive me?” she asked. “Misty, it’s ok. I know you just wanted Ash. And who can blame you? He’s really quite a catch.” May giggled. “Yeah. We forgive you.” Ash added and gave her a wink and a thumbs up. “Thanks guys! You’re the best!” Misty said finally cheering up. “So do you have a new boy in mind?” May asked. “Yeah! I think Tracy likes me.” Misty replied with a blush. “Really? How can you tell?” Ash asked, “How dense can you get?” Misty and May thought in unison “Kids! Breakfast!” Delia called. “I need to go see Tracy now so see you guys!” Misty said. “Ok! Good luck!” May replied. “Good luck with what?” Ash asked her. “Just help me with their pokeballs.” May told him as she gestured to her Pokémon, slightly annoyed with her boyfriend’s density. Ash helped May return her Pokémon to their pokeballs (except for Eevee) then they went into the kitchen together with Pikachu and Eevee while Misty went back to the lab. “So May are you still feeling good?” Delia questioned. “Yeah! Because Ash told me he loves me!” May squealed. “Yeah. But I’m not sure what to do now.” Ash added with a blush. “I do!” May piped up. Once again she grabbed Ash and they shared yet another passionate kiss. Ash blushed out of love and embarrassment because his mom was seeing him kiss May. But then he looked at her and saw her give a nod signaling that it was ok. Ash then relaxed and closed his eyes and deepened the kiss with the girl of his dreams. Mrs. Ketchum smiled as she watched the new couple share the most passionate kiss she had ever seen. “My work here is done.” She thought to herself.
Suddenly strong bangs came from the front door. Delia, Ash, and May all looked at each other. “Who could that be?” Delia wondered as she got up from her seat and went to answer it. Before she could even open it the door burst open. An all too familiar green haired boy stormed into the house and right into the kitchen. He came right up to Ash and May and slammed his hands down on the table. “I hate you!!” he screamed at Ash. “Drew?! What are you doing here?! I thought I said I never wanted to see you again!! What part of that do you not understand?!” May screamed. “This doesn’t concern you May!!” Drew yelled at her. “May? What is Drew doing here?” Ash asked May. “He followed me here to keep us apart! He was in on Misty’s little plan too!” she replied still enraged. “You were?!” Ash asked starting to get enraged himself. “So what if I was?! You stole my girl!! You deserved it!! Now get away from her!!” Drew once again yelled. Ash got in front of May and put his hand out. “Well, newsflash Drew!! May and I are a couple now so just buzz off!!”Ash yelled with a smirk. “WHAT?!?! NOW YOU’VE DONE IT!!!!” Drew screamed at the top of his lungs. He grabbed Ash’s jacket and formed a fist with his free hand. May put her hands over her mouth waiting for the worst and Pikachu got ready to attack if necessary while shielding Eevee at the same time. But then May, Pikachu, and Eevee were surprised when Mrs. Ketchum came in and grabbed both boys by their ears and began to drag them out of the kitchen. May, Pikachu, and Eevee followed curiously. “I will not tolerate fights in my house. You boys will settle your differences outside.” She said in an irritated voice. Then she opened the front door and tossed both boys onto the ground. May ran out and knelt down by Ash’s side while Pikachu and Eevee sat at his feet. Delia closed the door with a huff.
“Ash are you ok?” May asked, worried. “Heh. Yeah. Don’t worry May.  I’ve dealt with her ear pulls before.” Ash said with a silly grin. “Good!” May said with a smile then gave Ash a hug around the neck. “Enough!!!!!” Drew suddenly screamed. Ash and May looked at Drew who stood up in a blaze of anger. “Ash, battle with me!!!” he yelled. Ash remembered his anger and stood up, face to face with Drew. “Fine!! But only to prove to you that you need to leave May alone!” Ash angrily yelled. “The only one whose going prove anything is me! I’ll prove that you are a girlfriend thief!” Drew yelled back.
Soon Drew and Ash were positioned on opposite sides of the path in front of Ash’s house. May sat on a rock on Ash’s side with Pikachu and Eevee in her lap. “One on one! I want this over with quick!” Ash yelled. “Fine!!” Drew yelled back. “Go Flygon!” Drew called. Out of his pokeball came a large lizard. He had green skin and a long, green, and dark green striped tail with three green diamonds with red outlines on the tip of his tail. He had small oval feet and two long dark strands of green fur on top of his head. He also had two large wings with red outlines on them. He had clear red armor over his eyes and small arms with clawed fingers. “Go Pignite!” Ash responded. Out of Ash’s pokeball came a big, orange pig. He had two black antenna on his head. He also had a red, pig nose and curly and puffy black tail. Pignite also had a black pattern on his body that looked like a jump suit and yellow swirls on top of the black pattern. He also had black hands with a yellow stripe under each. “Go Ash!  You’ll beat him easy!” May cheered. Drew became even more angry and called out his first attack. “Flygon Steel Wing!!”
Flygon’s wings glowed with bright white light as he charged at Pignite. “Pignite dodge then use Flamethrower!” Ash called. Pignite jumped as Flygon flew under him. Then he turned around and launched a stream of fire out of his nose. The fire stream hit Flygon in the back and sent him crashing to the ground. “No Flygon!” Drew called. Flygon slowly rose to his feet and then started to flap his wings and took off from the ground. “Good Flygon! Use Dragon Breath!” Drew commanded. “Fly!” Flygon responded. He opened his mouth and shot out a beam of misty green energy at Pignite. “Pignite, counter with Flame Charge!” Ash told his Pokémon. Pignite stomped his feet causing smoke to come up and surround him. The he emerged from the smoke completely engulfed in flames as he charged at Flygon’s Dragon Breath. The two attacks collided resulting in an explosion. Pignite was sent flying backward and landed on his back. “Well Ash I guess that attack was a fail.” Drew smirked. “Are you ok Pignite?” Ash asked. “Pig Pignite!” his Pokémon responded as he got onto his feet. “Good job! Now use Sunny Day!” Ash yelled. “Pignnnniiiitttttteeeeee!!!!!” Pignite yelled to the sky. Suddenly the sun’s rays intensified and it got hotter and hotter. “He just rose all of Pignite’s fire type attacks. He’s looking to finish all now. So I’ll do it too.” Drew thought to himself. “Now Pignite use your new attack! Overheat!!” Ash yelled. “Flygon use Draco Meteor!!” Drew also yelled. Both Pokémon charged up for their most powerful attacks. Then Pignite launched an intense beam of super heat from his nose strait at Flygon. Flygon in response lanced a single orange ball of light into the sky. Then the ball exploded into multiple balls of light and began to rain down on Pignite. Both Pokémon screamed in pain as the attacks hit them both on the mark. Both Pokémon fell to the ground. “Pignite please get up!” Ash called. “Flygon get up now!” Drew commanded. Both Pokémon struggled to get to their feet. Then Flygon fell back to the ground while Pignite got up to his feet.
“NO!!!!” Drew screamed. “Good job Pignite!” Ash said as he hugged his Pokémon in congratulations. “Great job Ash!!” May called to him as she ran to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Aw, come on May.” Ash stuttered as he blushed and returned her hug. Pikachu and Eevee watched proudly from the sidelines. “NO!!!!!” Drew yelled. Ash and May looked at Drew with puzzled and slightly frightened looks on their faces. “I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!” Drew yelled then he began to run at May with crazed and angry looks in his eyes. May screamed as Drew came closer. “May! Look out!” Ash called. He ran toward her and pushed her out of the way. “Pignite, stop him with Body Slam!!” He added. Pignite ran to Drew and jumped. Then he fell right on top of Drew. Drew was forced to the ground and collapsed. “Thanks Pignite.” Ash smiled. “I’m not out yet!!!” Drew said as he lifted Pignite off him. Then he threw the large Pokémon over Ash’s head and far down the path. “Pignite!!” Ash yelled. Suddenly he heard a scream. He turned back to see Drew who was now over by May. Before he could even move, Drew grabbed May’s arm and pulled it behind her back and used his other hand to pull out another pokeball. “Go Absol!!”he yelled. In a flash of white light a four legged Pokémon appeared. He had white fur and dark blue claws on all his feet. He had a dagger- like, dark blue tail and red eyes. His face was dark blue and coming out of the side of his head was a huge, sharp, curved, dark blue blade. Drew caught Absol’s pokeball  and placed it back on his belt. Then he pulled out Flygon’s pokeball and made Flygon go back inside. Then he put the pokeball back on his belt and then put his hand on May’s  shoulder. “Uh! Hey! Let me go!” May screamed as she tried to get free from Drew’s grip. But Drew held on tight and she couldn’t get away. “Absol!” Drew called. Absol, understanding what his trainer wanted, trotted over to his trainer and May and put the blade on his head up against May’s neck. Ash, May, Pikachu, and Eevee all widened their eyes in horror at Drew’s command to Absol. Absol didn’t want to do this but he was very loyal to Drew so he did it anyway.
“Alright Ketchum! New deal! You attack me she gets hurt too!” Drew yelled at Ash from behind May. May gulped as she looked with a worried expression at Ash. “Ash!! Help me!!” she yelled over to him. “What can I do? He’s using her as a shield because he knows I won’t attack her. And if I try, Absol will…use his blade.” Ash thought to himself. Pikachu and Eevee ran toward Drew, May, and Absol to try and separate them. But Drew saw them coming and called out, “Absol Razor Wind!!” Absol ran toward the two small Pokémon with his blade glowing white. He then swung his blade and the white glow left his blade. Now the white light was hurtling toward  them in the shape on Absol’s blade. It hit Eevee in the face which sent her backwards, colliding with Pikachu. Absol made sure they were both out and then ran back to Drew and resumed his previous position with his blade up against May’s neck. Drew smirked and turned his attention back to Ash who still stood there with his hands balled into fists. “Well Ketchum, looks like you lose. You can’t attack me or your “girlfriend” gets it. She can’t get away from me which makes you helpless. So I’ll be taking my girlfriend away now.” Drew said with a smirk as he began to slowly back up with May and Absol. “Drew!! You won’t get away with this!!”” Ash yelled. “Well, I don’t see how that is possible. Your Pokémon are out, May’s with me, she can’t get away, and you can’t send out any more Pokémon or she gets it.” Drew said. “Please Ash!! Think!! You can do it!!” May screamed, her eyes tearing up. “Quiet!!!” Drew angrily said as he pulled May’s arm further behind her back causing her to scream in pain. “Cut it out!! You’re hurting her!!” Ash yelled. “She’ll be hurt a lot worse if you make one move!” Drew shot back as he motioned at Absol’s blade against May’s neck. Ash flinched at the sight and became quiet. “Good boy.” Drew smirked as he, May, and Absol backed up into the forest and out of Ash’s sight.
Ash knelt down next to Pikachu and Eevee. They were still out cold. He opened his bag brought out some medicine. He treated their injuries and picked both of them up in his arms. He returned Pignite to his pokeball and placed it back on his belt. He carried the Pokémon in his arms into the house. He placed them on the couch and went up to his room. He sat on the stool in front of his Video Phone. He dialed a numbered and waited for an answer. Soon Tracy’s face appeared on the screen. “Hi Ash! Ash? What’s wrong?” He asked. “No time to explain. I need to exchange one of my Pokémon for one at the lab.” Ash replied. “Well who would you like to send?” Tracy asked. “I’d like to send Pignite.” Ash responded. “And who would you like me to send?” Tracy asked. Before Ash could answer, Misty appeared next to Tracy. “Ash? Hi! What’s up? Guess what?! Tracy and I are a couple now!! Hey maybe Tracy, me, you, and…” was what she said before Ash interrupted her. “Not now Misty! May’s in danger and need a Pokémon from the lab!” Ash told her. “ Oh no! Who do you need?” Misty asked. Ash responded, “I need…”
At the big clearing in the woods, Drew was at the foot of the tallest tree. Absol was at his feet. He looked up at his handy work. He suddenly heard rustling in the bushes. He turned around ready to command Absol to attack. Absol got ready to pounce if necessary. “Look! I don’t want any trouble!” Drew called in the direction of the rustling. “You should have thought of that before you kidnapped May.”  A voice said. Suddenly a black haired trainer emerged from the bushes. “Ketchum. So, you did come back.” Drew said. “I not here for chit chat! Where’s May? What have you done with her?!” Ash yelled still mad. “Don’t worry. She’s just hanging around.” Drew smirked as he pointed up with his thumb. Ash looked up and widened his eyes. At the very top of this forty story tree was May, tied to the highest branch at the top. “MAY!!!!!” Ash yelled up to her. He look back at Drew. “How did you even get her up there?” Ash asked. “Skill.” Drew replied simply. “And you’re not undoing it! Absol Shadow Claw!!”
Absol started to charge at Ash with his claws glowing black. “I’m ready for you this time! Quilava Flame Wheel!” Ash called.  A sphere of fire came rushing out of the bushes and slammed into Absol. Absol, being a dark and steel type, was greatly hurt and was pushed backward.  The sphere of fire fizzled out and in its place was a long four legged Pokémon. His paws and belly had yellow fur and his back had dark turquoise fur. He had flames coming out of his head and some coming  out of his lower back. He had pointy, dark turquoise ears and violet eyes. “Quilava!!” the Pokémon said with triumph. “So you came with your Quilava this time, huh? No matter. Your still going to lose! Absol use Water Pulse!” Drew called. Absol formed a blue sphere of water at his mouth. Then launched the water sphere at Quilava. “I came prepared for that too! Quilava dodge then use Eruption!” Ash responded. Quilava ran toward the Water Pulse. Then at the last second ducked and let the Water Pulse pass above him. Then he jumped and launched a stream of fire from his head flames straight at Absol. Absol tried to dodge it but lost his footing in his haste and fell to the ground. Then, Quilava’s eruption made contact with Absol and sent him hurtling backwards into the tree. He collided with such force that the whole tree shook violently. “Absol!!!” Drew cried out. Absol steadily rose to his feet. He hated fire type Pokémon. There was no way he was going to lose to one. “Now use Dark Pulse!” Drew commanded. Absol yelled to the sky as a pitch black ring of darkness emerged from his feet. The ring spread in all directions. This left Quilava with nowhere to go. The ring hit Quilava and sent him to the ground. “Now Water Pulse!” Drew said. This time Absol’s water type attack hit Quilava. This left Quilava very weak and unable to move. “You won’t beat me!!” Drew yelled. “Oh. I’ll beat you.” Ash said calmly. “Look at Quilava.” He added. Drew looked at Ash’s Pokémon. Quilava was glowing with a white light. He rose and stood up on two legs. He got much taller and flames now shot out from his neck with extreme heat. He grew fangs in his mouth and his front paws became clawed. His eyes narrowed and his ears grew pointier than before. The white light disappeared and the new Pokémon stood smirking at Absol.
“Quilava evolved into Typhlosion?” Drew asked in disbelief. “Yep. I knew Quilava was ready to evolve when I was training with him two days ago. So I brought him along so that you would help him evolve. Now Typhlosion use the move I taught you two days ago, Blast Burn!” Ash called. Typhlosion, with renewed strength, got down on all fours and launched a powerful beam of heat at Absol from the flames around his neck. The beam was so big and fast that Absol had nowhere to go and no time to dodge. The beam hit Absol and sent him crashing to the ground. Absol did not get back up. He was knocked out.
“You did it, Typhlosion!” Ash said as he hugged his fire type Pokémon. He took out Typhlosion’s pokeball and made him go back inside. “I’m still not giving up!” Drew yelled as he finished returning Absol to his pokeball. He went to call out another Pokémon, but Ash beat him to it. “Serperior use Vine Whip to hold him down!” Ash called as he threw the pokeball. Out of the pokeball came a large snake-like Pokémon, She had no arms or legs, but she did have a long, light green body. She had a dark green tail that curved every which way. She had a long, pointed white face with red eyes. She also had yellow swirls all over her body and pointy, yellow strands behind her head. “Serperior!” she yelled as the strands behind her head swished out and hurled themselves at Drew. One grabbed on to one of Drew’s arms and the other grabbed on to his other arm. Drew struggled  and tried break free but he had no luck. “Good job Serperior. Now hold him down while I get May.” Ash told her. Serperior nodded as Ash ran to climb the tree. But before he even got to the tree’s bottom he heard a scream. He looked up to see May hanging onto her branch with her hands. “When Absol slammed into the tree, the shaking must have loosened her ropes so she could get out of them. But now she has to hold on by herself or she’ll fall!” Ash thought to himself. “Ash!! Help me!! I’m slipping!!” May called, as one of her hands slipped off the branch. She wondered if Ash could hear her. Whether or not he could hear her, she still yelled down to him. “I can’t hold much long…”  was all she could say before her screams took over as her hand slipped and she began to plummet to the ground.
Ash panicked. May was falling to the ground and he didn’t know what to do. “Ha! Looks like it’s the end of your relationship with her!” Drew said as he watched Ash panic.   “Shut up Drew! I’ll save her no matter what!” Ash shouted at him. Ash tried to think of how to stop May from hitting the ground, but everything that came to his mind was way too risky. Then he ran out of options and time. May was only a few feet away from the ground. He ran at top speed toward her falling body. Then he fell to the ground and started to skid. He skid under her and at the last second caught her in his arms. Sitting on the ground, Ash looked at the girl he was now holding in his arms for the second time. In all the time he had known her, he never thought he would never be this happy to see her. May looked up at him with her blue eyes sparkling. She never thought she would been so happy to see Ash’s face and to be held in his arms. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and placed her head on his shoulder. Ash pulled her body closer to his chest and placed his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. “Are you okay?” He asked. “I’m fine now that I’m with you.” May said sweetly never moving from her position. “Good.” Ash sighed.
After everyone was calmed down, Ash put May back on the ground. Then he asked Serperior to take Drew down to the Officer Jenney. Serperior did as she was told and began to drag Drew away. Without using all of her strength, she pulled him along easily despite the fact that Drew was fighting and struggling like a caged Primeape. Soon Ash and May were alone once again. “I just can’t believe it!” May exclaimed suddenly. “Can’t believe what?” Ash questioned. “How you saved my life from pneumonia, and now Drew! Twice in one day!” May giddily replied and took one baby step closer to Ash. “Well, the pneumonia one was thanks to Pikachu and the rest of your Pokémon.” Ash replied nervously as he blushed. May giggled as she came closer to Ash. “Yeah, but who’s tear was the last one needed to activate the magic?” May playfully asked. “Uh…mine?” Ash said. “Yep.” May replied moving even closer. “Well this Drew thing was also because of Typhlosion, Pignite, and Serperior.” He added nervously. “Maybe. But who helped them battle and then caught me when I lost my grip?” May questioned him. “Uh…me?” Ash said. “You got it.” May said. She was now right up against Ash’s side. “So what do you want to do now?” He asked feeling nervous having May right next to him. “I want  to thank you for saving me.” May said as she put her hands on Ash’s chest. Ash immediately realized what May wanted. “B-but May, wha-what if someone walks by during that time? Or-or what about wild Pokémon? They might attack us. And w-we might want to let someone know that your o-ok. A-and we should p-probably check on Pi-Pikachu and Eevee.  I d-don’t know if now is …” Ash started to babble but was silenced by May as she put just a single finger on his lips. “Just kiss me Ash.” She said quietly. Then she placed her hands on Ash’s shoulders leaned forward and closed the gap between their heads. Their lips met and May closed her eyes. It took Ash about a minute to realize what was going on and what to do. After he figured out what to do, he kissed her back and placed his hands on her shoulders. Though blushes were appearing on both of their faces they didn’t care. They both figured out their feelings and now were together. They separated and looked into each other’s eyes, neither ever moving from their position. “I love you May Maple.” Ash said quietly. “I love you too Ash Ketchum.” May replied quietly as well. And both ment it from the bottom of their hearts.
